Where to Eat in Bangalore

Bangalore has restaurants and cafes for all your cravings. Here is a list of my favourite discoveries so far and I will be sure to update as I come across new ones!

Traditional Indian Cuisine

Meghana Foods - hidden away on the MG Road, Meghana Foods offers an array of typical Andhran dishes. They are famous for their biryani, and I can confirm that their paneer biryani is to die for!

Nagarjuna Restaurant - located in Indiranagar, Nagarjuna is another typical Andhran restaurant that serves HUGE thalis on banana leaves. It gets super busy at lunch time but it is worth the wait. Rest assured you will be full once you are done!

Bheema's - located along the hustle and bustle of trendy Church Street, Bheema's offers traditional South Indian dishes served on banana leaves. Another spot where your stomach will be sufficiently FULL upon leaving!

Non-Indian Cuisines

Brik Oven - surely the best pizza in India!!!! So many delicious toppings to choose from on thin stone oven baked crusts.

Fatty Bao - a great rooftop spot in Indiranagar for some delicious baos and sushi.

Phobidden Fruit - located in a quieter side street of Indiranagar, Phobidden Fruit is my go-to for delicious and adventurous Vietnamese food! The salads are so fresh and full of new tastes and combinations. If you fancy something sweet, I would highly recommend the Mung Bean Pudding!

Vegetarian

Green Theory - located in Richmond Town, Green Theory has a quiet outside patio, which is an oasis in busy Bangalore! They have an extensive menu of international dishes and DELICIOUS juices (I would highly recommend the mint lemonade!) A very chill place to hang out and eat.
